In the South of France your obligatory stopovers would have to include Cap d’Antibes and nearby Lerin islands of Le Croisette with visit to old town of Cannes, Gulf of St Tropez including visit to Port Grimaud and neighboring Pampelonne Plage, Le Porquerolles National Park, beautiful city of Nice, lovely and historic Antibes, romantic Eze Bord-du-Mer and spectacular Monaco. Other popular itineraries are in Greece, one way between Athens and Mykonos, in Croatia, one way between Split and Dubrovnik or in Spain between Islands of Mallorca and Ibiza or increasingly popular Menorca. Finally, custom made or long-term charters can also include cross-country sailing with one way charters between Olbia in North East Sardinia and Bastia in North Corsica. To get the most luxurious boats amongst these, you would probably need to budget for at least 50,000 Eur per week, although during the peak of the season or towards the turn of the year, budget on boats such as Sunreef 60 or Alegria 67 may have to be increased by further 20%. A typical 2x week charter on a luxury Sunreef 60 could easily reach mind-blowing 100,000 Eur therefore. Smaller catamarans such as BALI 5.4 or Privilege 510 will most likely come to around 25,000 Eur per week in mid-season and up to 30,000 Eur during the most desirable weeks. All rates can be negotiated and at times owners also provide discounts however.
